Whispering Pine is Villa 8 within Blue Pine Orchards — a resort complex 15 km from Lansdowne town. We're privately owned by Mukesh ji, with Mr. Suresh as the full-time on-site caretaker.

A few honest notes

About the pool

The infinity pool you see in the photos belongs to the Blue Pine Orchards resort and is shared with all villas in the complex. The resort charges a small fee for pool use per their policy — separate from your villa rent. We'd rather mention it up front than have it be a surprise.

About parking

The villa comes with one private parking spot right beside it — so your car is always within sight. If you're driving up with more than one car, additional cars can park along the road just outside the resort gate; guests have done this without trouble. Mention it when you book and we'll make sure it's sorted on arrival.

About the garden

The villa has its own open garden — patch of green that's entirely yours for the stay. Set up the chairs for evening chai, let the kids run around, or just sit with a book under the pines. We don't charge extra for any of it; treat it as your own.

About meals

The kitchen is fully equipped if you prefer to cook (we can arrange basics like tea, milk, eggs on arrival). For meals out, the Orchid Restaurant on the resort premises is a 2-minute walk — guests have called it "delicious." There's also a small market in the nearest village for daily essentials.

About the location

We're about 15 km from Lansdowne main market — roughly a 30-minute drive on hill roads. This means: quieter mornings, darker skies at night, fewer crowds — but also that you can't walk into town. Most guests come with a car.
